Earlier this month, Mazda gave video gamers—and Mazda lovers—everywhere the opportunity to test drive the all-new 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata virtually. As part of the Mazda MX-5 Challenge Rivals Event, the Japanese carmaker set up the video game debut of the new MX-5, allowing Forza Horizon 2 players to download the new vehicle.
The new convertible is part of a four-vehicle car pack that is available on the video game to use for the open-world racing title. Joining the MX-5 are representatives from the roadsters first three generations. This includes the 1990 MX-5, which represents the NA; the turbocharged 2005 Mazdaspeed MX-5, which represents the NB; and the Super 20 Concept, which represents the NC.
Along with this terrific four-vehicle pack, Forza Horizon 2 gamers will also have the opportunity to win a 2016 MX-5 of their own. The challenge runs from March 17th to April 30th, with the winner being the fastest driver in the virtual Sisteron Perimeter Sprint Circuit on the game.
