The 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show happens in late September for 10 days from the 17th to the 27th, but Mazda has already announced its plans to debut one of its new concepts—the Mazda KOERU crossover SUV.
The word KOERU, which, according to the press release, translates to “exceed” or “go beyond,” is representative of Mazda’s venture into the increasingly popular market for crossovers. The KOERU is also the latest in Mazda’s series of KODO – Soul of Motion designs, which aims to pack sleek, refined cars with the power and vitality of a wild animal. The SUV will also utilize the latest SKYACTIV technologies to provide improved environmental performance, such as increased fuel efficiency, without affecting the quality of driving experience associated with the Mazda name.
The company’s full KODO – Soul of Motion line will be displayed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, including but certainly not limited to the Mazda KOERU. The crossover SUV will be one of 14 vehicles displayed in the lineup.
