This September, Mazda continued its support of the Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP). Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced that the company would be donating 16 vehicles to the Red Cross, up from 15 vehicles last year. Mazda North American Operations has shown its commitment and support as part of a long-standing partnership between the Red Cross and MNAO.
Robert Davis, senior vice president of U.S. operations at MNAO, said “Through the Mazda Drive for Good program, Mazda has the ability to work with strong non-profit partners throughout the United States –and the American Red Cross continues to provide an incredible partnership sharing similar values as ours. Partnerships such as these are important to the very being of who Mazda is as an organization.”
Mazda was the first U.S. automaker to join the Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program. Mazda recently became a $1-million ADGP member from increasing its donations from last year.
