At the 2015 L.A. Auto show we were introduced to the 2017 Mazda CX-9; a seven-seat crossover SUV that is set to go on sale this spring. The 2017 CX-9 went into production earlier this week in Japan and we couldn’t be more excited.
The Mazda CX-9 is a three-row vehicle that comfortably seats seven. The spacious interior will have brown Nappa leather seats and wood trim. The 2017 Mazda CX-9 will feature an all-new turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 250-horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. The “Kodo-Soul of Motion” design philosophy from Mazda will also be evident on the 2017 Mazda CX-9. This design philosophy is featured on the new Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda6, CX-5 and CX-3 models.
We have high hopes for the CX-9 and so does Mazda. Mazda expects about 80 percent of global sales of the CX-9 to come from the United States. Here at Steet Ponte Mazda, we are anxiously awaiting the spring and the arrival of the 2017 Mazda CX-9! Stay tuned for more information on the 2017 CX-9!
